In June 2025, GCC Asia-Pacific was launched to strengthen collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region within the Global Cosmetics Cluster (GCC), a global network connecting cosmetics clusters around the world.
In April 2026, Saga University established the Cosmetic Science Interdisciplinary Program, the first interdisciplinary cosmetic science program of its kind at a national or public university in Japan.

Following these developments, the Forum will bring together companies, research institutions, and other stakeholders from Japan and abroad involved in cosmetic science and the cosmetics industry. Through international exchange and collaboration, it aims to foster new partnerships, create business opportunities, and drive innovation in the cosmetics sector.
